RAM Gallery 20th anniversary-exhibition November 19th 2009 - February 14th 2010 :
An attempt to implode/explode The White Cube - a layered time, space and place construction.
No musicians but at heart, we’re here to say Thank You All for the overwhelming participation in ‘The White Cube Remix’ project for December 17th 2009 until February 14th 2010 at the RAM Gallery in Oslo, Norway.
A special THANK YOU goes to SackJo22 and Gurdonark. The call for ‘white cube remixes’ is based on their own samples and did inspire almost a hundred remixes - all produced in as little as a month time. Their enthusiasm alone made this project happen!
Grateful and yours truly
RAM Gallery Oslo
update (December 20th):
December 17th 2009 - the opening of:
A_CUBE_CONTAINED_IN : THE_WHITE_CUBE_REMIXed by a tremendous free global force
a live video-streamed introduction by Emily Richards aka Snowflake, Jason Brock aka spinningmerkaba, Robert Nunnally aka Gurdonark and Susan Joseph aka SackJo22 is now audible AND visual at the RAM cam.
Our dear friend Per Tegelström aka St. Paul was ‘in the flesh’ present at the opening and - as a representative of the glorious ccMixter community - received a bottle of Norwegian Akvavit as a humble expression of gratitude for all the creative outbursts exploding/imploding the white cubes there are…
Yours truly
