My name is Al, I was born in London and raised in Scotland.


I learned guitar playing AC/DC and Zeppelin covers; later on I got inspired by Ministry and Godflesh, and discovered samplers and drum machines.

I grew up, and began listening to everything.

I have played and recorded with bands, gigged at the Marquee in London, played blues on the porch in WA state, and never completed that demo for Sony.

Refusenik is a studio and online project with no plans to play live…
