Since our last remix, we had matured greatly in our music. To show it, we decided to re-remix a song from the past, and we chose Calendargirl’s “August,” mainly because we think her voice is immaculate. We’re sure you will notice a difference within the first few seconds. We, also, made some subtle changes to the instrumental. We mean changes so subtle, we can barely hear them ourselves and WE did the remix. However, we hope that you still enjoy our evolved remix of Calendargirl’s “August.”

When we first heard the vocals, both of us immediately thought, “House Music!!” We had the idea of keeping the Lounge sound in her rhythm for the verses and convert the chorus to go along with a House beat. As we worked on it, the switching between the two genres failed miserably because it was hard to keep a fluid, mellow flow throughout the track. So, we decided to take out the Lounge and make it just straight House. Enjoy!!
