My name is JV (aka Jave) writer, gamer, musician, amateur taoist, Atlantic Canadian.

For several years, I played street corners and coffee houses as a singer songwriter, and struck up several failed collaborative projects with local independent musicians before retreating to my bedroom to work on a number of self-produced CD-Rs, and gradually drifting into instrumental and electronic territory.

I used to produce under a handful of different aliases, Scrawly for more experimental works, Dalia for more mood-based impressionism, usually guitar oriented, and so on, though now, most of it falls under the single umbrella of Jaspertine.
